EDEA has been manufacturing component testers for 15 years and this tester is the latest version of our successful Ignition Component tester.Current ramp ignition components without the need of a current clamp or an oscilloscope. When a vehicle is not running or you want to bench test a component an oscilloscope is unable to be used for testing unless you can "run" the component. The EDEA tester is able to run your components and at the same time read, record and playback the amperage waveform for analysis.
The EDEA Tester is able to diagnose components even when they are located under manifolds or other engine parts. With the ability to current ramp, components can be tested in place avoiding lost hours in removal.
The EDEA Ignition component tester will run components and at the same time display and record information about the amperage waveform to diagnose defective components.
With the ability to test Ignition Modules, Ignition Coils, Coil Over Plug, Injectors and Position Sensors this is a very useful tool for diagnosing no start or misfiring engines.
